Bariatric Center Website Design
I designed and developed the full 12+ page website for Nova Vita Bariatrics Surgery based out of Tijuana, Mexico. The website was built using the Elementor site builder for WordPress.
Project overview
The client needed a Brand Website for a Medical Tourism, Bariatric Services Center in Tijuana, Mexico. The project goals were to ultimately help people achieve their goal weight and be educated on weight loss.
Execution
User & Competitors Research
We first needed to identify who the target audience is and research top competitors.
We found that the ideal patient would be between the ages of 25 and 45 without any major comorbidities. Top competitors were found both in the medical tourism space as well as domestic to the US. Main competitors would be those that provide their services to US residents looking to receive affordable surgery in Mexico. Despite the already existing interest in traveling for bariatric surgery, it was important to instill trust in the patient so that they would know that they'll be safe traveling to Mexico and receive world-class care at the medical facility. This would be accomplished through elegant design and extensive content that educates the patient on the overall process.

Design & Development
I created a mood board with the client of various landing pages and websites in the medical space to draw inspiration from. Once the wireframes and initial mockups were approved, we moved forward with development. The client had already set up his hosting and installed WordPress, so we decided to develop the website using Elementor Pro. I created all 12+ initial pages of the website based on the content provided by the client and designs I prepared. I continued servicing the website as needed, improving site speed, connecting a content delivery network, and building out new pages for additional functionality like payment processing.
Results
Nova Vita Bariatrics went from vision to reality with the launch of its website.
Within 2 months of launch, the website received hundreds of views and helped convert Nova Vita Bariatric's first patients.
